    sjmog1 galileoxp Since I stopped being a primary school teacher (phew), most of what I've done has been as extracurricular clubs. So it's pretty self directed from the start. I've always found it useful to have a clear idea of what I'd like to be available to learn

      sjmog1 galileoxp - and then to pay attention to what the learners want to learn! We have multiple different projects and teams going on in the same session - all discovering what they need to learn next. Having students within the groups doing mentoring of other young people is great too.

        sjmog1 galileoxp It's always intrigued me as to what triggers learners to feel they are "good at" something, how quickly it can happen and how deep set it can be. Interesting to see you relate that to the emotional content of what's going on - that makes sense to me.
